on my long runs there's usually a guy taking picture for the track club which are later posted on the club's website. when i see this guy i make sure my form is proper and do my best not to blink (there have been failures). when they get posted i immediately save it and post it to my facebook to be like 'hey look at me, i run'. here's this past weekend's picture:

now if you follow my facebook, you'll know i took the not so scenic route, if not here's the excerpt.
Today's run: 2:30 mins We were supposed to head north along the beach from la jolla shores into del mar. on our way out, someone had said the tide was to high to pass in areas, so me and a handful of others ran up torrey pines twice (like a boss). battery died w about 2 miles left, but finished at marathon pace or faster over the last 3.5 for a total time of 2:25:53 for 16 miles (or 9:07). click the linky
while going through the rest of the pictures from last saturday, i saw that i had missed out a rediculously sweet photo op.
giant dead whale!

here are is a group i normally run w/ Marc and Bj - look at this amazing picture!!

still pissed about it and for the rest of my life i'll probably say to myself periodicaly 'remember that time i didn't get a picture with the whale carcass?'
