nice weekend.

over the weekend, the wife and i celebrated 11 years of holding hands and such. November 1st is our anniversary. I didn't say to her "want to go w/ me?" or anything like that on 11/1/97. In fact, it wasn't until mid November that we discussed and chose the arbitrary date in which our relationship began. If it was up to me, it would've been 10/31, b/c that's when we first held hands in front of our friends on our walk over to a halloween party, but there was a negative conotation w/ the end of the month for Jg, so we went w/ the 1st. seems to have worked well so far.

I actually forgot and had to be reminded w/ the 'do you know what today is?' question when i got home from my run on saturday. I won't let that happen again. Although we've stopped celebrating this ocassion in place of our wedding anniversary later this month, it does not mean that this date is not special to me. my bad.
