one less gym

i cancelled my la boxing membership today, but i'm a member for the next 30 days. I guess they were serious about the 30 day notice thing. over the last 6 months or so that i've had that membership i've probably gone to 6 or 7 classes. i know. waste. it was fun punching stuff and a nice break in the monotony of running, but i've been over it for a while now. i think i was secretly hoping that my raw talent as a fighter would be discovered among the masses, and when the classes consists of middle aged men and women and high school kids looking not to get picked on, it's hard not to look like mike tyson in comparison. at the end of the day i am not a boxer. i failed. but i can still punch stuff in the backyard and it won't cost me 65 dollars a month to do so.
